Biography

Natalia Prutski is an American contemporary artist based in Pensacola, Florida. She specializes in large-scale abstract paintings on canvas, frequently incorporating collage and figurative elements into her work. Natalia began her art journey at an art school in Ukraine before relocating to the United States in her early twenties. As a largely self-taught artist in her later development, she spent years experimenting with diverse techniques to cultivate her signature style. For the past 15 years, she has worked as a full-time artist, showcasing her work in both solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally. Her distinctive style achieved global recognition in 2014, when she received a first-place international award in Abstract Art. Infused with a deep commitment to artistic excellence and her cultural heritage, Natalia’s paintings are held in private collections worldwide.

Artist Statement

I am a contemporary artist creating unique abstract paintings on canvas. In my latest collection “Fragile Worlds” I integrate abstract and figurative elements, I explore the concept of feminine beauty as it becomes lost within abstract worlds. Working on canvas, I build rich mixed-media surfaces by layering acrylic paints and mediums with texture, colored pencils, paper collage elements, and gold leaf.
